Terms of sale
Last updated 29 October 2026
1. Who you buy from
The seller is Average Joe Incorporated AS, organisation number 916 886 330, Dragehodesvingen 34, 1360 Fornebu, Norway. Contact: post@departmentofglobaloffense.com.
These terms apply to all purchases on departmentofglobaloffense.com. By placing an order you accept them. Consumers keep any mandatory rights they have under the law of the country where they live; nothing in these terms limits those rights.
2. Parody and commentary
The site is political satire and commentary. Every quote is a documented public statement with date and source. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any person quoted or their organisations. Quotes are reproduced for criticism, commentary and parody.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in your local currency for the delivery country you choose. The price shown is the total price for the product.
- Shipping is calculated for your exact address before payment and shown separately. Product price plus shipping is the full amount you pay us.
- Average Joe Incorporated AS is not yet registered in the Norwegian VAT Register, so no VAT is charged or specified on your receipt. Prices will not change when registration happens.
- For deliveries outside the EU/EEA, local import charges or duties may apply and are set by your country's customs authority.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
4. Made to order
Every product is printed or embroidered on demand after you order, by our production partner Gelato at a facility close to you. Production normally starts within 1 to 3 business days.
5. Right of withdrawal
Because products are made to order with a chosen design, size and colour, the 14 day right of withdrawal does not apply (Norwegian Cancellation Act § 22 e and EU Directive 2011/83/EU article 16 c). You may cancel free of charge until production has started; contact us as soon as possible.
6. Faulty or damaged products
If a product arrives damaged, misprinted or wrong, you are entitled to a free replacement or refund. Contact us within a reasonable time (we recommend 30 days) with your order number (DOGO-xxxx) and a photo. See shipping and returns.
7. Liability
We are responsible for delivering the product you ordered. We are not liable for indirect losses, except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved by the Norwegian courts, with Asker and Bærum District Court (Asker og Bærum tingrett, Sandvika) as agreed venue, to the extent the law allows. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your country of residence.
Please contact us first; most issues are solved quickly. Consumers in Norway can also contact Forbrukertilsynet and Forbrukerklageutvalget. EU consumers can use the European Consumer Centre network.
